Reg Blackwell – President

Reg joined his parents, Toney and Verlie Blackwell, at the Blackwell Insurance Agency back in 1983. He began at the agency as a Commercial Lines Sales Associate, and took over the reigns in 1992. Since then, he has led the team to provide comprehensive and cost-effective insurance solutions to individuals and businesses alike. Prior to joining Blackwell Insurance Agency, Reg was an Officer in the United States Air Force proudly serving our country for 20 years. He has over 25 years of experience working with churches and small businesses throughout the state of California, helping them find the best insurance program for their organizations.

Scott Bingham – Commercial Accounts Executive

Scott began his career in the insurance industry in 1989 and was recognized as a top producer selling Personal Auto. In the mid-1990s, he joined Blackwell Insurance Agency working in their Auto and Homeowners division. After a few years, Scott moved into Commercial Lines at Blackwell and in 2004 became a full-time producer. He’s a specialist in institutional and non-profit risks, including churches, schools, and seminaries, and is certified in risk management and loss control. Scott also has an Associate Degree in Network Engineering and is working on his Bachelor’s in Project Management. On the personal side, Scott is a triathlete, and an avid outdoorsman, traveler, sailor, and surfer.

Judye Blackwell – Personal Lines Account Manager

Judye has been working with Blackwell Insurance Agency since 1983. For 28 years, her passion has been to help our customers find the best coverages that suit their specific needs. She looks forward to continuing to do so.

Leigh Zellmer – Personal Lines Account Manager

Leigh has recently joined the family business, and is the third generation of Blackwells ready to serve our customers. She has been a licensed insurance agent in California since 2003 and brings new energy, ideas, and creativity into the agency to address the needs of our Personal Lines customers.
